Everybody is entitled to there own opinions me included I am only stating the way I feel about the situation. The way supporters get treated by this so called excellent club that thinks very highly of its supporters. I have my reasons for being negative about this club and if mentioned it on here you would be disgusted and don't want to go into it. And I don't trust this club any more and this is why I have negative and it's a very personal thing to me that happen to a member of my family. And someone tell me what positive things it as done to care for supporters my dad worked for the club I worked for club and would never work or volunteer to help them out again due to this my dad worked for over 30 years service but it is to upsetting to disguise what happen after my dad passed away and still hurts today so till you understand why people are airing negative views find out the reason why

That is fair enough, but why that should put the current deal in doubt???

I'm not a Salford fan, I occasionally come on here if we have a match or if there is a big news item such as this to see what's going on. What I don't get is if you have issues or greivences like you say, then why have any interest at all in this club. In the end the club is the management and if you feel that the management have treated you or someone you know shabbily then this change of management is either a positive as the old guard are removed, or makes no difference as the feelings run too deep.

One thing that the good DR. cannot be accused of is being a Salford old boy and part of an ongoing conspiracy. He is very much an outsiders with no prior links to the Salford Club as far as I've seen or heard.

If that's your feelings pal, then that's fine. But you will understand that given your agenda, people will often not take notice of your opinion. You wish to see the club fail because of how you and your family have been treated. We're not here to judge the rights and wrong of your situation, people on here just love the club and want the best. You don't, so you'll always be annoyed about individuals wanting the club to prosper.

Eccles - I dont know what happened to you or your father BUT isnt it time IF the deal is concluded that you draw a line and start with a clean sheet like the Dr is doing.

I know a well connected member of their supporters' trust. Whilst I'm not exactly an expert, I've got a pretty good idea of how well they're coping. They need a huge change in fortunes to be able to continue to survive at the stadium.

You've got to feel for the Swinton supporter, after decades of living under the Willows mob , firstly we get a Stadium built for us , then when we've made a hash of the move & the moneys ran out up pops this guy.
I would be sick as a dog with the injustice of it all.

You'll get a lot of this crap. Firstly, people will pretend they're really concerned for your fate. They are to a degree, but really, they don't care. Secondly, if all goes according to plan, they'll pretend to be really pleased for you, but really, they're wishing it was their club. Thirdly, if you start winning things, they'll slag you all off for being glory hunters.

Even for a report in the Manchester Evening Comic it does fill me with great hope that this is now a formality rather than a dream.

The signings have me intrigued as it reads that the Aussies (or at least players from the NRL) may already be here and will be unveiled at the press conference.

I really hope all of this comes off for Salford. It would obviously be great for the club, and its fans, but I think the benefits for the game as a whole will be huge. Another big club, spending up to the salary cap in the Salford/Manchester area will improve Super League immensly. Hopefully this will mean that Koukash will really develop the game in the area and get more youngsters/schools/clubs playing the game which will have obvious benefits to the game as a whole and England RL. He definately sounds like the kind of guy that will get all of the right off field structures in place.
