Seems to me there are far too many 'experts' knowing far too much about peoples private lives.
[iChase is on £180,000 a year at the Tigers, plus £1,000 a match appearance money.[/i
rlAnd Making It Publicrl
Wot I wanna know is - What does he think of coaches Hay and Donlan and do I blame them for the increase in forward passes - Those given by Alibert and those screamed for by the cloned Bradford fans yesterday ?

A stumbling block is his wife, She doesn't want to move, And it was said she has told him he has to commute if he wants to move - Not sure if this is accurate. It could be a ploy to eek a bit more money out of Cas. All I know is what I see, Anyone who saw Rangi over the last about 10 weeks (When we went to Leeds away, And he was supposedly signing for St George all week - My mate a Rhino's fan said "He certainly doesn't act like he wants to leave Cas, He seems to love you lot"icon_wink.gif - Thats still the impression we get.
And, I wouldn't kid yourselves about reaching finals, You are a long way off that yet.
As I say, We will see what happens, We think the deal will go through, But what has been said is Cas haven't agreed the terms, More likely we have allowed you to speak to him/ His agent. And then we will leave the decision up to you, He won't be leaving on the cheap. Thats for sure.'"
On top of all that - he doesn't drive. So unless he either moves to the Manchester area (highly unlikely) he will be getting a lift. His cousin Weller might play chauffeur maybe ?

And? Castleford is only 45/50 mins away Salford can give him a driver who'll pick him up and drop him off.

| "We thought having a local boy would be a good bonus for us and he adds a little bit of size. Ryan had to travel three hours a day to get to and from training because he doesn't have a car, so we believe that he can do more work and improve his game now that he's closer." so i dunno how chase would get to barton.

Far from it, But it does question the paper reports which were basically talking as though it was a done deal.
Just good to see our Board are at least trying to put up a fight (Albeit we have no idea what the figure offered was)

Could we not throw McGoldrick in to sweeten the deal?
Be interesting to know what St George offered earlier this year and what Salford offered.

Bet we offered £200,000 or £250,000 if they took McGoldrick !!

| It’s all quite simple. If Rangi Chase did not want to leave Castleford, he or his representatives would issue a statement confirming as much. If Castleford Tigers did not want Rangi Chase to leave, they too would issue a statement confirming he is not for sale. The facts are Rangi Chase hasn’t issued any such statement and Castleford have confirmed Salford’s offer (circa £60k) has not met their valuation, which suggests they have a price in mind and therefore a negotiation will in ensue until both parties are happy.

If we really did offer £60k we deserved to have it chucked back in our faces.
