Sale have charged £10 for the car park for the last couple of seasons (added an extra £5 to pay for free shuttle buses to and from the TC) so maybe the stadium just quoted the wrong amount?

on a match day, whether you buy anything or not, but that only started happening recently when they realised the price of the stadium carpark.

There is no legal requirement to provide disabled parking free, just a requirement that they can have the same access as other paying customers; until the start of Sale's season the stadium allowed this for free, but now appear to charge. The reason they gave is the restricted size of the car park now that the development sites around the stadium are in process of sale. The only CP attached to the stadium is the tarmaced one at the front. All the stoned areas are sites up for sale and development.

Am I right in reading that you have drove from Derbyshire to collect your tickets from the stadium to save 50p?

In an age when all and sundry are encouraged to be eco this, that and the other you'd think that it would be a case of people being charged less if they don't make unnecessary trips.

I'm led to believe there are new fangled inventions called smart phones, surely it should be easy to buy a ticket online, receive an emither with a code on it and and scan it on entry.

I worked in Salford for 7yrs and if being a wiganer is a minor disability then heaven help you poor souls.

I was in Stockport doing some shoping, so killed 2 birds with one stone.

I would rather spend 50p on petrol, than give it to the SMC. If Salford didnt play there i woudnt go anywhere near the place.

I also went there to pick up my season ticket and shirt.

There is a Disabled season parking ticket available to buy for £52 . works out at around £4.33 per match plus Home cup matches included.

A non disabled/ ordinary car parking ticket for the season is £35 at Wigan.

Season parking passes were still £50 ( west stand ) ie tarmac bit . who would pay £10 match ? would be almost cheaper to take out monthly yourgym membership.

ticketing & ticketing agents has been a pain since day 1, as has the lack of cash turnstiles .
bugs me why options to print at home should be charged booking fee

each year the club say they will turn a corner and be more available to purchase tickets, this season , promise to make tickets available from Salford ' central ' based sites outlets, mentioned at the open day , no sign as yet ,
travelling overseas until feb so , missing the friendlies & will be a rush to purchase tickets for the opening game.
