I totally agree. Did what a centre needs to do, runs in the ball, draws in the opposition and passes to the winger. Sounds simple, especially with two of the fastest wingers in the league!

I agree with that, thought Oliver Gildart played really well in his brief spell with us. I seen him play for Workington at the Big Bash weekend and was just as impressive.

We've also got Jake Bibby in the academy who is knocking on the door of a first team call-up. Unfortunately due to the change in league structures and the reintroduction of P&R I cant see him getting a chance this season.

How long did Josh Wood get against Warrington, couldn't have been more that 7-8 minutes. I'd rather see what our academy lads have to offer over than a kid from Wigan because of being at "Wigan"

i dont think sau has been the same player since he got injured at the start of the season came back then injured again. a injury free pre season i think would do sau the world of good.

Coaches are in a better position to know when these lads are ready.
I remember Widnes away 2 or 3 years ago when we played a black centre whose name I forget.
He hasn't been seen since. He wasn't ready .
There are loads of examples of this.
Superleague is not the place for good kids,unless they're up to the task . As I say the coaching staff would prefer to play our own kids,but not if its going to destroy their confidence.
