I am sure that the attacks that were made on John Wilkinson (under a pseudonym obviously)came after John ran over his foot in the car park and now it seems that Marwan may have possibly upset this person also.

I doubt it this vendetta against the club has been going on for about 4-5 years now. There will be reason or motive behind this and I just hope someone can get to the bottom of it. Salford rugby club is a business trying to attract new support and these kind of stories are very damaging. Do these people know just how much good the club has done and is continuing to do for the local community? It's disgraceful. This rag has never published one remotely positive article about the club.

Neither of these are important in relation to his ownership of Salford,or our progress,but we're in danger of replacing one set of journalistic claims,hopefully untrue,with another set which more suit our argument.

I can't imagine much of what has been published being true. However, just to point out, just because somebody appears to be very rich does not make them financially stable.

There have been plenty of millionaires/billionaires who have seen their supposed fortunes disappear as quickly as they built them... See a certain Robert Maxwell for a good example.

Just out of curiosity and not being a local, what exactly is the Salford Star and what's its problem with Koukash and/or your club?

It's one of the doc's future named horses and it's head is going to end up on someone's pillow.

It publishes as much tripe as possible against us because of the stadium financing/public money invested into, and basically has a massive downer on everything Salford RLFC related as a consequence. Nearly all of which stems from the previous administration, but they seem to have a beef with the new administration too.
