Not entirely convinced there is anything suspicious in this, but I've always felt we get treated badly by the video referee. I generally expect any decision that gets sent up of ours to be turned down.

I think Salford as a club should build up a collection of all the incidents where the Salford players have been banned then build up a collection of similar incidents where other clubs players have not. Then send it to the Rugby league and let them explain the difference.
We as fans see examples every week of bad, dangerous or dirty tackles from other clubs players and nothing is done, whereas if it was a Salford player we know it would result in a ban!
I think the Rugby League have set out to teach Marwan a lesson and I think together with the blinkered refereeing has decided the result of quite a few games this year.
Injuries certainly haven't helped but with a fair crack of the whip from our "officials" we would have had more points on the board.
On a positive note, the players have continued to give their all in challenging circumstances.

People seriously feel the is a witch hunt against salford regarding being sent off ? Come on, salfords discipline is shocking. Anybody with brains and eyes can see that. Harris keeps banging on about it also.

However, I felt for griffin yesterday. My brain tells me that was a red but my heart says he should have gone to the bin for 10 mins. Child should have shown some heart Imo in which was a tough week for him.

If your players weren't vicious thugs then maybe you wouldn't have so many bans..........

Everyone's entitled to an opinion. Having watched every Salford game this season I may have seen a few more incidents that yourself. Are you inferring that Salford deserve 50% of all the bans this season?
If Griffins sending off yesterday was correct then we should have had at least 2 or three every game this year.
It certainly depends on which team you play for!
With regards Harris's stance, what's he supposed to say, he has to toe the official line. I'll bet privately he hasn't got the same opinion.

St pete - You have issues with Salford and Marwan particular as is blatantly obvious by you constant rants on the VT about him. Let it lie. There are plenty of Saints players past and present I can't stand but I don't feel the need to troll other boards and tell all and sundry about it.

As for the Griffin incident it was a yellow at worst but Child is a grade A pr1ck so absolutely no surprise he flashed the red. I don't want to keep harping back to the Westwood incident back in the first game but like it or not we are being treated completely differently from other clubs. Yes we let ourselves down at times and a lot of those bans have been deserved but the length of some of the suspensions is laughable. I bet if you compare those bans against historical records we're probably the dirtiest team in the SL era!

Oh and don't get me started on the stats for Wigan, Wire and Leeds....

I also agree that Griffins red card was a little harsh, 10 mins sufficient IMO. I think when its reviewed it should come back as 'sending off sufficient, no ban'. Childs should have shown a little compassion there. However, I think Josh Griffin will do well to escape a Grade B punching charge as it was clear to see him throw a punch at Phelps on the deck. It will be interesting to see whether Isa gets cited for reigniting things after it had calmed down, he made a beeline straight for Josh and went right up into his face.

Well if it's not the VT it must be the Stains board I've read you constantly bleating like a spoilt schoolgirl. You're obsessed. Oh and seeing as you're an expert on discipline would you like to.explain the difference between the late high shot just before half time in the Hudds-Catalans game and Griffin's yesterday? Looked every bit as bad from where km sat yet replayed once in the ground and nothing done.

Not sure mate. It was right near the.sticks a minute or so before half time. Nothing given fir it and there was one very brief replay on the big screen. It seems like every time we play every incident is replayed 10 times to either disallow one of our tries or to award a penalty against us. I don't normally go for the "everyone's against us" school of thought but this season we just seem to get shafted every week. I can't think of one occasion coming away from a match thinking that we'd got the rub of the green.

Oh and I'm not one-eyed either, I know we're no angels but it really feels like the punishment isn't fitting the crime most of the time.

I thought similar last week against Warrington with Ormsby's third try. The video ref had a fleeting look from head on and gave a try immediately,( even though a later replay from behind shows it wasn't as clear cut and should have at least been looked at fro every angle possible) yet our try's are looked at from every angle time and time again, as though they are desperate to find a reason to disallow them.
