David Lyon coached England Academy to victory over the Australian Schoolboys in 2004, it was the first loss on Australian soil. The Academy also beat a star studded Kiwi team.
The Aussie team had players like Greg Inglis, Jarrad Mullen, Blake Green & Frank Winterstein.
England were a well drilled unit and I spoke to Lyon after the game, i was impressed by how thorough he was about every aspect of the game so i was surprised he faded from the scene not long after that tour.

Noticed on Twitter that the Dr's daughter(s) said they have only got two days in Dubai left. That was tweeted this morning. Hopefully the MEN have got it right for an announcement tonight and the Dr has come back a few days ahead of his Family. If not, the announcement will be next week.

If I remember correctly didn't be leave his family back in Dubai the week he took over the club? Barker must of been told either from the Doctor himself or one of his representatives surly as he seems quite sure of what he's written. |

I just hope we don't get loads of negative ranting if we don't have an official announcement today. No announcement appears to have been formally scheduled, and a lot of people seem to have interpreted "after Saturday's game" in the MEN as "immediately after the game on the pitch". Sunday is still "after Saturday's game".
