I'd suggest Hohaia is quite likely.

World cup winning fullback who was signed to play half back - pretty much everyone agrees this was a mistake. Nathan Brown implied he didn't think he was a #6 on the beeb before he'd agreed to joins us.
So he's not being considered as a half and he's behind wellens in the pecking order for#1 (perhaps lomax as well).

Forget the last twelve months and he's a big name signing and, realistically, could do a really good job for you.

Agree with Offside Monkey, pretend the last 12 months haven't happened and Hohaia is a massive signing. I'd be gutted and massively underwhelmed if its Wellens(not that I think it will be anyway).

I wouldn't call it a massive signing . I always thought Hohaia was overrated off the back of his performances in the World Cup a few years back. Saying that, I do think he would be pretty good player for us to bring in and a lot better than what we currently have.

He's a decent fullback and would look fantastic there in Super League, bar the odd howler fielding kicks. It hasn't worked for him at Saints as we brought him over on a big contract to play in the halves, in a moment of blind panic after Kyle Eastmond signed for Bath. He is awful in the halves, purely because he isn't a half back and has very little experience of playing there.
