Cavendish,
I view your post as one with genuine concerns but slightly suspicious as to whether the family member on the board wants things disclosed and why,as a board member, they themselves have not taken any course of action ie. resigning if not happy,or being proactive in changing things.
Quote CavendishStreet="CavendishStreet" 1) We are about to enter administration, Matty Smith was sold early to pay not only Holdsworth but Creditors,
2) The Willows and its owner (Ian Watson) were under huge pressure from the council to provide the blueprints for affordable housing as soon as the move from the willows was complete, This has not happened because The board have the intention of returning to the Willows due to the club entering administration and being ejected from super league. 3)EDIT
4) The club had the rent halved upon Sale agreeing to move in, So we know pay £300K A YEAR , How on earth can we afford that with only 2 home games per month AVG just over 5000 att, the income then needs to pay Players,Backroom Staff,Training Facilities,Gym Memberships,Overseas Players housing costs etc...The numbers just aren't going to work.
5) Those currently in an employed position at Salford RLFC do not have their heart in the job, Any marketing you have seen from the club has been done by a guy called Chris Bird, NOT our Marketing team. The promotion that was done for The Leeds Rhino's Game was paid for and produced by The Salford City Stadium because Salford RLFC had NO money.

1) If the club is heading into administration why are they paying creditors as recently as a couple of weeks ago ?
2) As someone attempting to uproot in the current economic climate even affordable housing isn't affordable.
There doesn't appear to be any 'intention' on entering administration - see points 1)and 3)
3) My understanding of the word 'fleecing' would allow the money to be reclaimed either through the courts or other means.
4) If the numbers aren't going to work they certainly weren't going to work in January.A sign of improvement.
5) I would suggest that if it is the case that paid employees are not doing their job they should at least be 'made redundant'.Why has the board, and your family member, not acted on this ?
When will the review by Steuer Gregsson be completed,if it hasn't already ?
Why has a depressing thread started when we are still over 55 hours before a magnificent home victory, when they usually start after the win ?
Tuesday night should be quite informative
