| The MEN article probably came from here.
A sign of things to come anyway, Smith (loan), Tyrer (loan), Boyle (groan). Imagine what would happen to the squad if we didn't have the £300k from Myler coming in!
Also from the MEN article:
Quote FORMER Salford forward Stephen Bannister, who spent last season at Widnes, is a target for ambitious Halifax who fancy his ball-winning skills'"
Eh?

| Wasn't Bannister already at halifax, I thought he went off V Barrow in the play offs for a bad cut to the head.

I think its a good thing, these players have have come from a "winning mentality" club who can deal with playing at the highest level somthing we at salford have failed to deal with time and time again.
The bonus is that apart from Talau they are still young athletes and all of them are hungry for success, given time to gel and develop and with a couple more better proffesionals added next season and few of the older heads who by then will be spent at super league level we could have a very young and good athletic team who will ask a lot of questions of our opponents

Don't think we can knock the club for the policy of trying to attract a young squad of players, my big fear is that Mal apart we are still short of a old head to influence the youngsters round the park - let's hope that Smith steps up this year and takes the role of half back we all thought he would have made his own last season.

| dont think we need another weve already got 4 but knowing mcrae he`l probably b playing sum of them on the wing. it dont look good 2 me that were getting all our signings on loan deals whats going 2 happen the next season they will probably all move on leaving us short of players again. i hope we will have some decent signings soon 2 replace the players who have left

already spent on the tax bill for this season, so no Myler money for the squad.

Not knocking anyone .. yet, not seen the quality yet to replace the likes of Stapleton in the pack or the experience & guile of Wilshere.
Which Smith are you talking about Jezza or Matty?
