| When I saw it I thought it was a part of the roof from the main stand, if thats the stand behind the sticks how dissapointing, the top of the roof is only level with the top of the steps on the main stand. Like Rochdale away end like someone said.

Yep. Looks like the Sandy Lane end at Rochdale. I occasionally watch Dale FC and sit in the stand directly facing the small. terraced Sandy Lane end.
My opinions on the revised stadium venture tend to rile the vast majority, so I'll keep my gob shut.

Another comparison would be the top of the terracing being on level with the entrance steps of the main stand.

For now it is big enough and it is probably keeping us in Super League, so I can't complain too much. Plus the scale of it means it shouldn't take too long to build.

Middleman - the design's changed since those drawings. It's slightly less imaginative in its look now - phase 1 won't have the two covered corners and won't have the angles floodlights, and the main stand roof has been done more basically.

I'm throwing my hat in the ring here but IMHO we will NEVER get to phase 3 and we'll have to be really lucky to get to stage 2. |

I know it may not be the iconic stadium we were all dreaming of but that little stand behind the sticks will still be bigger and better than the 'terrace' infront of The Willows clubhouse that we've got currently.

to be fair, compared with the west stand it does look tiny! however taking into consideration that the west stand is a four story building and compared to the willows from inside the ground which is two stories, the new south stand is simalar in size to the austin trumanns sides which are not exacty tiny!?! big enough for us i would think
