Great result for Widnes and will make Sunday's game a great spectacle both teams will be flying I just hope we can kick on and stay consistent because will be harder to beat Widnes than it was saints that's for sure . Will Sau be back? Anyone know when vidot is due back?

From the highlights they scored some very good tries against Leeds regardless of what Leeds' attitude was like on the day or injuries they picked up.

This will be a difficult game Sunday against them regardless of what we did to Saints last week. Need to be 100% focused as a win would set us up nicely going to Wigan.

Thursday night was the best iv'e seen us play since the Wigan home game last year at Easter. We were brilliant from 1-17. Im nervous for the Widnes game. Both teams got great results at the weekend with big score margin. I hope after Thursday result we attract a decent crowd for this game. I don't know what to expect in this game, Widnes battered Leeds who lost 3 big players during the game but they seem to get results at home especially on their pitch (fair play to them)

You'd hope for a big marketing push by both teams, that the club get into local schools this week getting as many youngsters down to a game with a family friendly KO time and that some sort of angle is made of 2 less fancied teams who are both playing good attacking rugby with the real prospect of the victor either staying at or going to the top of the league.

You'd hope for a 6000+ crowd, no excuses really.

We'll be clear favourites as it's at our ground would be the same if it was at yours.

Wow I've only just seen that Widnes result and it's a phenomenal one regardless of any injuries Leeds suffered. Maybe I'm being disrespectful/ignorant to Widnes but over the past few years I've never looked at their squad and thought "I'd love to see him in a Salford shirt" (the likes of Brown and Hanbury excepted of course!). That Leeds squad on Sunday was riddled with talent and any sort of a win is an achievement but to put 50 on them is some going and forget any potential issues with Leeds attitude (like Saints against us) or the pitch.... that's a hell of a result and Widnes deserve a lot of praise.

I'm hoping home advantage should swing it for us on Sunday but I'd imagine it'll be a better with both teams confident of a win after last weekend. We need to smash Brown (legally of course!) early and keep him quiet as he's a pain in the ar$e and always causes havoc against us!

Btw, anyone know what's going on with the Widnes forum on RL Fans? Doesn't seem to be in use these days.... being Scouse are they on some sort of LFC-esque protest?
