The swinton game is £20.00 per adult or you can get a family ticket (2 kids and 2 adults) for £30

Sorry too expensive, I know two people who aren't going because it's on the expensive side just after Christmas.

Should have been cheaper and promoted to the people of Salford/Swinton as a good way to raise funds for charity and too get a good taste of quality local sport.

Like when they did the last home game of the willows they did a lot of promotion.

Granted this is slightly different but a well promoted joint venture with some charities/ councils at £10.00 a ticket you might of got close to a sell out!!

£10 a ticket and I would of been able to bring a car full of people. But £20 for a friendly is just too much for people after the festive period.

IMO, despite all the positive steps taken recently regarding marketing, I feel the club have missed an opportunity here.

Does anyone know what/if the stadium are charging for this game?
They'll obviously make on the stewarding, carparking and refreshments. Are they charging us for the use of the ground too?

Got a feeling the R.F.L decreed, That whenever possible Super league clubs would arrange friendlies against Championship clubs with the R.FL. setting the admission fee, and all monies going to the Championship club, as a means to helping them

Roy,this is a benefit game for The family of the deceased.
Neither the stadium company or the two clubs, should be taking any monies,in my opinion.

So it seems there's some doubt about the Featherstone game going ahead.
Inresting the RFL fixtures site has us playing a game against Hunslet Hawks on Saturday 24 at 2pm.
Anyone know if this is a replacement fixture or a under 19s fixture.

Busy Weekend for Hunslet , if they are playing Salford at South Leeds on the Saturday , they are also away to Doncaster on the Sunday 25th.
