| Quote lou kate="lou kate"Is that the view of The RFL,Mr Bonita
Stop the video at 3 mins 50 secs, then have an opinion.
Another gaffe by Mr Hicks, following on from last Thursdays game at Widnes.'"
For the avoidance of doubt I don't work for the RFL.
I watched it twice and smiled.
It was late,no more than that. The test is that had it simply been a tackle when Brough was holding the ball, would it have been a sending off. Not at all,it would have been a penalty at worse, because it might have been regarded as simply a very aggressive tough tackle.
However,Mr Kate, back in the real world the RFL will do him for 3 games !!

| maybe Lama felt like a bit of retribution on Brough for carrying on after he ended Mcpherson`s Salford career , could still be fresh in the memory you never know , Brough would have seen Mcpherson go down and must have knew he was in a bad way but 4 points were more important than a fellow pro`s well being .

| It looks to me like shoulder then head, a LITTLE late, Brough would of got a Oscar for that in Hollywood, laid on the ground then got up when Poor Tasi was sent of.
I suspect the reason Brough went of , injured ??????? was becuse they were beat, and was laying it on very thick to get Tasi a ban on tues '
For me it should of been put on report, Hicks nor the linesmen, saw anything and the game was playing on , untill the hudds players started shouting at the ref.
But we are Salford and the RFL dont like us and Tasi will poss get a 4 match ban. and if the RFL could they would take the 2 points of us aswell.

Brough is injured, they're talking about a broken jaw.
He may also have lost consciousness.
Tasi will be banned . It was late but no more than that

I hardly think Brough was aiming for McPherson's head when he kicked that ball.

| Looks pretty bad from Tasi. Don't think he could argue if banned. Talk from some fans that he 'deserved it' are out of order and I don't think Tasi would back them up.

| If Brough has got a broken jaw and was unconscious, WHY was he not taken straight from the field, for his own health and not play on before he decided the game was lost and then he decided to go off and is now claiming he has a broken jaw. ??????

Stubbornness would be the obvious answer. Also, I'm fairly certain players don't "claim" to have injuries.

| He'll get a 3/4 game ban for that! Was very late not quite head high but nevertheless it was late. Bad news for us as Tasi has been outstanding.

| Has there been an actual diagnosis on Brough or are people speculating? Crabtree was asked in the Ropewalk if Brough had a broken jaw and said he didn't. Has better info come out since?
