I'm not sure that Warrington is particularly disliked ( apart from by Loyal Fan who once explained that his view of an entire town and rugby club was down to one bad experience with a former girlfriend's dad ). If they are disliked, it's probably because they HAVE finally made it into the 'big four'. However, this is only a recent achievement, going back less than five years, and no doubt some other club's fans don't like it. If Salford achieve the same thing, expect a similar backlash from fans of clubs who don't like to see their rivals make progress.

And as for the BBC think it's coverage of RL in general is pretty poor, Ray French is as bad as Eddie & Stevo on SKY. Mark Chapman is a pretty decent presenter but as on SKY new blood is desperately needed.

I've disliked Ray French for years. Stereotypical, thick, prone to making far too many gaffs, and mentions Union every chance he gets. With Eddie & Stevo, it's the Eddie and Stevo show, liberally sprinkled with bias, personal opinion, and nonsense. I respect Stevo as a fella, an ex player, and everything he did for RL with regards to the museum. But as a commentator he needs to just commentate on the game. The rest of the Sky monkeys are not much better tbh.

I really can't see why the biggest terrestrial and satellite broadcasters don't see what RL virtually universally agree on.

The game is trying to foster the image of a fast paced athletic product where its presenters are now getting past middle wheezing pundits.

Don't see why someone like SKY don't make a big thing of handing over the reigns with some form of fans input into who succeeds the current 'experts'.
