If FR isn't transparent enough why hasn't anyone else started up an alternative group instead of waiting until now in a vain attempt to cause disaffection.

It can't.
What we should be wishing for,from January 7 th is anything other than an adjournment.
Once we know what's happening legally,then a strategy can be formed.
At this stage I would guess that only the people directly involved know what's likely to happen so ,sure have contingency thoughts,but we will need to see what happens.
The events of January 7 th might well flush out an alternative and with the best will in the world it won't be Jacqueline Gold or Paul Scholes !!

I'll be there Thu. Really struggling financially at the moment but more than willing to give my time to help out where I can. Moving forward I'd happily set up a direct debit to buy shares in a newco/revamped club.

FWIW, It's a shame that some of the RL watching Utd players don't fancy getting involved. If a group of them threw a week's wages into the pot they could pretty much own the club and use the hospitality to their heart's content. As a Utd fan myself I'd love this to happen but there's more chance of Eccles Star, Lancetodd, Mitie Mouse, Gruffy and Philyourboots going on Eggheads and winning!

No. This is just a meeting of supporters.

As it is just a supporters' meeting, can I ask if anyone there will have any real facts and figures because we're going to need them? There are some really searching questions that need to be asked and, more importantly, answered honestly. I'm not sure if this is the right place to air them, as some may be 'sensitive', but they all pretty much revolve around money and might require a legal brain for some of the answers.

I'll try to get there, but it's a long journey for me - 2 hours each way.

I would happy to go on eggheads. As for helping club out at moment would not help them as one don't have money and to would not trust the people it was going to look at the mess they created I have had season ticketsf every year also replica jersys. They never answer fans emails they also treat you like there just intrested in money rather than there supporters. Sorry over years I have put money in and what have we had in return nothing crap performances season after season. I don't want to see club finnished but these people running at moment would not want any money going to them. Sorry but I am past caring I tried to get a mascot for nephew for a game a year after I emailed them still waiting for answer. So sorry but I lost intrest because they way they create you its same on Facebook if you don't put what they want to here you get banned. I don't use facebook but my mate got banned for sayin club don't answer emails this is a joke then they banned him. You might want to help a club that's run by that type of person but I don't enough is enough. Most supporters I know and speak to say the same but they don't air there views. So forever reds good look in your quest but can't see many wanting to help

The meeting is about saving Salford not person or persons,and I am sure the club is aware of that,the fight to
save the club is not only for the future but also for the people who have given so much down the years,players
directors and supporters your relatives and mine.
