A loan is not investment and would be very risky unless we are getting offered it open ended and someone is underwriting the whole thing.

That said though if a company is willing to loan Salford money we are not in the perilous state some on here would have to believe.

I am trying to start my own business up,now what i need is somebody to give me at least 1.2 million per year so i can pay the people i intend to employ in my company.Now as you all know if you pay peanuts you end up with monkeys so i need that type of dough.Also i need sponsors to advertise their wares on my products,which will be the bees knees in my opinion,for x amount of dough.When my products are put on show,which will be between the months of feb and oct,hopefully,i say hopefully because my intended competitors will produce a better product than mine and our year will end in sept. Ah this might happen but i have a cunning plan,you see what i will do then will be to sell or let go my best products to these competitors of mine so that we get some more dough.Thus making us richer and them weaker. I think the chairman only wants investment,on his terms.He does not want anybody with new ideas,just their money.
what we want in my opinion is somebody to take over lock stock and barrel.I know there will be some on here who
don't agree,but I think the silent majority will.We live in hope.

Just because some supporters have respect for a man that’s given 30 years loyal service and invested a lot of money in the club doesn’t mean they wouldn’t like to see new investment and new direction under new ownership.

Lets hope something happens sooner than later to put an end to this b*ll*x of continually having a cowardly, anonymous go at the one person who’s given more to this club than anyone over the past three decades. according to the MEN there are 4 multi-millionaires living in Salford, the Done brothers are two, Ryan Giggs is the third so who is the 4th? perhaps they want to come forward and take over?

I think that reports wrong (surprised?) if you think of the property prices down Leigh Road then surely there must be multiple multi millionaires living down there.

Jim Ramsbottom to my knowledge still lives on Lancaster Road and know he is interested in the club but doubt very much he'd be a major investor and certainly not look to buy the club.
