BF isn't it just the Ticketmaster on line parking that has to be pre booked before match day?

According to the club web site [urlhttp://www.reds.co.uk/rugby-news/bus-travel-to-stadium-available-from-willows-and-trafford-centre[/url (then scroll down a bit) you can turn up at the stadium on weekdays before the match and buy a car park space, or get it on-line via ticketmaster up to 10pm the day before a game (though presumably with the rip off ticketmaster booking fee applied!)

Interestingly it also mentions a limited number of cash paid spaces at Barton Airport - not sure how that will work as when you go into the car park you get a ticket from the entry gate and then take it to the control tower to pay just before you leave, you then get a code number to open the barrier. Certainly for the early part of the year the control tower will be closed by the time matches end so unless they are putting the payment facility in the bar and that's staying open longer it could be a problem.

Couple of attendants on the gate collecting money seems the obvious answer to that BF.Barriers opened for post match traffic to exit.
You never know the airport bar may just offer a discount on parking if you purchase a drink or something to eat..

get to irlam social or tiger moth before game have a pint and pie ,get on cadishead cars mini bus for £2 return.

The better pubs in Irlam are all a bit far away, unless you used a taxi. Think Peel Green/Patricroft is a better choice. Would be great if eventually, a Brewers Fayre sorta place was to open near the ground.

irlam social and tiger are tidy little boozers,what kind of rugby fan are you,take it you ,ve not been to yorkshire or some of the nice pubs in wigan ,oldham or leigh,keep to sale and the kick and clap prick.

nothing stopping people car sharing and taking turns to park there?

cash on the day parking at Barton Aerodrome or salford city campus on brookhouse estate .

£ 1.00 park & ride from Trafford Centre or Willows

Park in Eccles and Bus/Taxi in

Park locally in Patricroft/Peel Green and risk walking across the M60 sliproads

Park in Cadishead/Irlam

I’m astounded people are sticking up for the club on this one, then again on this website nothing surprises me! The club highlighted the parking as one of the features of the stadium, leading people to believe that if you turned up on the day of the game you pay for parking! None of this booking on-line nonsense, I've never heard anything so ridiculous, so if there is only say 100 parks on the car park and people turn up and our refused permission to park yet there is ample spaces to park on. Nothing is ever black or white with this club, infuriates so many times I refuse to let it wind me up and just laugh and the club and how shambolic it really is. On a lighter note I hope Eccles / Irlam clubs profit out of this stadium, anyone who has been to the LSV to note the amateur club a stone throw away from the ground and I have to say I was very impressed by there facilities on my visit.
