Clearly we were not content with missing the opportunity that the 2011 season presented us with, so we can now spend 2012 in limbo too. Bet the RFL love the way we set about treading water for two years each time they award us a licence. Expect something good in 2014.

Lets hope that the club can pull something out of the bag by going to Vievers with cap in hand for the nest season. Lets face it I'd rather have him in charge than someone like noble!

I'm sure if he and Longy can get a grip of the players they could make a difference. In fact they have to otherwise the first season in the new stadium will be a unmitigated disaster. Crowd numbers will plummet and with it a franchise.

luckily the only thing stopping the stadium from becoming a white elephant will be a successful Sharks side playing in it. Them also being the stronger of the 2 organisations would probably mean they have better bargaining power behind them to broker a much better deal for themselves with the stadium owners. And hence go stronger while we fade into liquidation.

About time Wilko resigned too! I hope Matt comes out with a few home truths and tells the Salford fans why he made the decision. Most supporters backed him when he had his first outburst about things, we all knew most of that stuff anyway and now I think its no wonder why the club deals with its supporters with such contempt.

Andy Wilson's blog sums up exactly my feelings about the shambles this club has become. I'm sick of being told it's just a handful of people who post on here & can't wait to criticise the club at any opportunity that hold that view. When a respected RL journalist writes it will people finally start to take their head out of the sands?
