I personally preferred the previous version of Ignito who led the team out with the smoking flare. Seemed a lot more more mobile and 'super-hero' like as opposed to the present lifeless lump. Maybe it's just me being nostalgic for the good old days when I used to avidly read DC Comics characters such as the Flash, the Atom, Adam Strange and a whole host of others.

Ignito's greatest moment in a red shirt has to be when he won the obstacle course against a rival mascot ( I forget who) and kicked a goal from about 30 yards out @ an angle without checking his run that was pure amazing imo a star was born that day

I hope the club read this and are beginning to organise a bigger profile for ignito going into the new ground its obvious to me by the recent posts that kids look upto this character and with a little effort and a bit of time invested he could entice a few kids in just like the junior devils did for a few of us all them years ago

I thought Ignito was a bit stupid until recently.
I had a look around at the mascots of other teams, and he's far from the worst (just look at South Wales Scorpions Sting). Infact I came to the conclusion he's probably one of the better ones. Something a bit different than the big furry animal in rugby kit model. The kids certainly seem to like him, and he's only really there for them.
