I can accept Godwin's ban but I can't understand why the Crusaders player wasn't cited and disciplined for his over reaction to Nero's legal challenge. The player ran in an agressive and intimidating manner at Nero from several feet away. The reaction of the Crusaders player caused Godwin to lose control and react. I always thought players were told not to take the laws of the game into their own hands and allow the referee to deal with things. The Crusaders players reaction could have instigated a mass brawl yet he gets off scott-free.



Come on Mr Cummings it's becoming embarrassingly biased all this!

And whilst I'm on my soapbox get that Sam Tomkins banned for trying to con the refs by deliberately trapping the tackler and trying to milk penalties all the time. Rant Over

I noticed Tomkins did his cheating trap move at least twice against Saints. If I can see it why can't the referees or Mr Cummings? He's took it to whole new level this year with a new technique of trapping a tacklers leg between his thights to make it look like he's the one being held down. Tomkins may as well be popping performance enhancing drugs for me because in my eyes a cheat is a cheat! The thing is he's a real great talent and he doesn't need to cheat.

The thing is he will be targeted for big hits if he carries on and he will soon get fedup with the aches and pains. It's a hard way to learn but he'll learn.

Tompkins worst "cheat" is his over theatrical dive to the floor when he's challenged or held down in the tackle. He did it in the grand final twice. It looks as bad as the likes of drogba or Ronaldo or any football player for that matter who dives or over reacts.
When I first saw it I couldnt quite believe my eyes. Rugby of all sports.
For all the talent he's got he's a slimy little cheat, I hope for this and his cheating in the tackle he is targetted for some big hits
