Well for all the running he supposedly does he's got 3 league goals this year compared to berbatov who has 8 goals and 9 assists.
I know who I'd rather have in my team
As a plus note, he gives the lazy impression but look at the stats, he's does almost the average amount of running for the team during the match, not bad considering strikers shouldn't be anyway
Tevez aka Argentinian Alan Smith

| I was there and just before he took it I trned to my mate and said he may be tired having to run the 5 yards to hit the ball, little did I know, but by the time he kicked it Tim howard was already lay on the floor, and then a little stroke straight to him. The order of the penalty takers was wrong, I would have let Anderson go first, but last time United played at Wembly in the FA cup, we were in Perpignan, and Salford got hammered by the dragons and United were beat by a team in blue, history repeats itself.

At a guess Berba has played quite a bit more football than Teves this season, could be wrong though!

Berbatov 25 starts, 3 sub total 28
Tevez 16 starts, 8 sub total 24
and considering tevez supposedly plays against the 'lesser' teams its not very impressive imo

9 more starts than Teves, i would expect him to have better stats!
I prefer Teves to Berba he works a lot harder for the team, and Berba has done nothing special IMO and so far been waste of money!

Don't want to get into a massive debate because I do think they offer something different but I would prefer Berbatov, he keeps the ball a lot better probably why he doesn't have to chase players all over as he doesn't give the ball away that often to have to chase. The difference was clear when he started in Porto last week and he wasn't even fully fit

| Two totally different players.
One runs around like a crazed lunatic, the other gives the impression he does not care.
I would have Berbatov in my team ahead of Tevez just because I believe he gives more to the team.
On another point everyone is stating the fee paid for Berbatovs services.
Would you honestly say Tevez is worth another 26 Million on top of the 6 already paid ?

No, that is the only down side of it. We may lose Tevez. I doa gree they are 2 different type of players.
I would like to see Kiko, Cambell and Welbeck pushing for more games next season.

of them 3, only macheda looks united class.
berbatov, the penalty apart, is a class above tevez.

You think? I am still not sure about Kiko tbh, he is on top of world at the moment but he needs to prove he is united class.
The main area where United lack at the moment is a dominant al midfield player IMO.
Don't think Keane has ever been replaced, it's all good having Ronaldo but need someone who will get stuck is not flash so to speak

| i should have said 'looks like he could be united class.'
agree completely about the midfield player.
from 1981 with robson, through the ince, keane days, we've had a top class midfielder, as much as i like carrick he isn't a ball winner.
we could do with a fully fit hargreaves at this moment.

Deffo, Hargreaves I rate highly! Just been very unlucky with injuries.
Not keen on Nani, he never seems to pass the bloody ball.
A mate has a season ticket for Man Utd and he says rumours are Frank Ribery and Silva are the main targets for the summer.
As for Ryan Giggs at the start of the season I thought he was fantastic when he was in al midfield, but he is not the answer for the Keane type of player. Hargreaves could well be that if he can stay fit
