| Quote: theredshed "We can look for excuses week after week but the reality is a large part of our current plight has been down to the worst discipline in SL by some considerable distance. Look at yesterday as an example, we gave away several penalties before we were awarded our first in the 60th minute. Injuries you can't control but discipline you can. The discipline issue on top of the injuries has cost us several games this year. Far too many needless penalties and suspensions. The club needs to start imposing some hefty fines.'"
This.
For me discipline has been the biggest problem and the main reason we're on this dreadful run. It's not just the suspensions, the discipline on the pitch is starving the team of field position. Getting sick of seeing us finally getting the opposing team penned on their own line only for some stupid penalty to let them off the hook. At the moment this is happening everytime we play. Harris needs to sort it quickly.

Do Darrell and Josh Griffin give the most penalties away, are there any stats on this ?

| It is clear we have suffered with some poor decisions this season, it is also clear it appears some in the RFL do not like the way our club conducts it dirty washing in public.
Having attended the magic weekend & sat & watched all 3 matches it also highlighted how poor we were yesterday, yes we have a massive injury list, yes I believe we have been poorly set on & scrutinised by the rugby league but we need to accept some facts? Going off yesterdays first half our discipline was awful, our line speed was none existent, our kicking game was woeful,"did we learn nothing from the Warrington game having no second kicker we are just so predictable", we have pace out wide but continue to drive up the middle.
When the club were dealt the injury & suspension blows, we knew Chase was gone for 7 games, the following week, we had lost Dobson for a long spell, we were already aware we had lost Tommy Lee & Locke was dispatched for a knee operation.
Anyone watching rugby league will tell you 1-6-7 & 9 are pivotal to any success.
a specialist half back role knowing the suspension & injury crisis we were facing could & should have helped the club & taken pressure from Theo who has been given an impossible task of playing for 6 games as our only recognized young half back!
Finally I get angry about some of the decisions I see week in & week out, I do believe we have been on the end of some very poor decisions, however I get even more angry with our owner continually washing all the negative linen in public. We must close the door & stop moaning how badly we have been treated.

| Yesterday performance was not acceptable on any level.
It doesn't look like the team are playing for him and I do worry that the over physical nature of our play is being taught by Harris, it is all well and good saying there is a witch hunt but there is no smoke without fire and the players ill discipline is there for all to see.

| Very poor turnout from Salford yesterday, it must have been demoralising for the players to run out in front of around 100 Salford supporters.

Why are opposition fans so besotted with Salford attendances?

| I think Harris might be gone if we get a real kicking on Friday.
As has been said elsewhere Sheens coming in until the end of the season and either helps the Doc find the best coach moving forward or takes the job himself.

Agree about the performance but to lay the discipline blame on Harris is not on.
Without a doubt the RFL have cracked down on Salford if you dont believe that then watch the re run of Huddersfield match @ Magic where maybe Hudds should have had 3 red Carded for similar incidents to Darrells yesterday.

| I do wonder if Harris is asking the players to be overly aggressive though?
I have no doubt that different referees see similar offenses very differently, they shouldn't but without doubt it happens.

| I don't see the logic of Hurarki at stand off I understand the coach has a problem.I would have used Greg Johnson at 6 also Theo's kicking game is none existant. If we have used the salary cap on this group Heaven help us.We are in a relegation scrap.Anyone who says otherwise is in cloud cuckoo land.

With both first choice halves missing I would have played Evalds at 6 (who played in academy at halfback) put BJB at fullback and put MCB on wing. I think Evalds always backs up well and gets on the ends of things. He may not be mega creative but would have offered more than Hauraki playing out of position.
I know Evalds has done great at fullback but I honestly believe he has the potential to be similar to Danny McGuire at Leeds. Pace and always on someone's shoulder if they make a line break.
