If Kennedy was in a position to do so, he probably already would have. Although I could see him far from happy at the prospect of contributing financially to our coffers so could try to wrangle some kind of deal with Dr K/Peel/Council.
The Dr himself was confident enough to call a press conference and say things were pretty close to being done. It does not strike me that someone with his business eye would do anything like that if there was going to be a spanner in the works from Sale.
I may be wrong and we'll see.
Eccles star has just found another negative to post about and is clinging to it for dear life.

Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Can't see that we have a realistic chance of the eight as even if everything was sorted tomorrow it's doubtful all the planned signings could be brought in before the Wigan game let aloe be a team rather than strangers playing rugby together. |

There was no way we should've gone down that year.. We dropped points against Widnes & Wakey, then after a miraculous win against Wire away , we bombed our chances against Cas , whilst Warrington ( who were then safe ) rolled over for Wakey to give them an easy 50 pointer , so technically he was right . 
Feka, said we'd definately make the top 8 , anyone who quotes that now sends a shiver down my spine that we've tempted the gods of RL to on us from a great height .
I just want us to make round 2 without suffering alopecia.. |
