If he has asked for a transfer it doesn't mean Salford will grant it.

At least Salford might recoup a fee if they agree a transfer now. If they are relegated, everyone would be able to simply walk away.

This is the thing that really concerns me. If as rumoured everyone is unhappy then it's in their own interest to perform badly, get relegated and walk away to a new club

One player who does seem very happy at the club is Sa'u, he seems to have a genuine love for the fans, club and the area.

You'd doubt he would be inclined to be anything but honest about the state of what is going on behind the scenes with his very public religious beliefs.
