| I think they've got it wrong. We have an existing partnership with Oldham.

| As far as I was aware it was definatley Oldham due to Lee Spencer and Scott Naylor coaching there? Either way it will be interesting to see how these dual deals pan out.

| Salford are dual registered with Oldham and St Helens are dual registered with Rochdale. SL clubs can dual register with a second Championship club if that second club is located in one of the regions which includes Cumbria, Wales, Midlands, South East, South West, etc. Under this rule Salford also have Barrow and St Helens have Whitehaven as dual registered partners. Workington are the only club dual registered with Wigan.
Today, I believe, 4 Saints players played for Rochdale in their match against Whitehaven who had 2 Saints players in their team.

| My belief was we have a official link up with Oldham in CC1 & now Barrow in CC
we also have three players DR with Sheffield Eagles in the CC , although not official because Aston is against official tie -in's with Sl sides , 7 in total .
Barrow - Stuart Howarth - Adam Walne
Oldham - George Tyson - Alex Davidson
Sheffield - Gareth Owen - Will Hope & Jon Ford
So this weekend:
Adam Walne & Stuart Howarth played for Barrow against Fev , Howarth being named MOM for Barrow
George Tyson & Alex Davidson were on the Bench for Oldham against Gateshead in their 52-16 win.
Gareth Owen was on the Bench for Sheffield this weekend , Will Hope , Jon Ford did not play.
Surprised Niall Evalds isn't being Played DR ?

| Has anyone seen much of Evalds in the U20's? I would have thought a spell out on loan would do him the world of good.

| I'm pleased to hear that Adam got a game. Howarth will have done well at that level because he has more SL experience than most, if not all on the field, but more so because as a totally dedicated trainer, he will have been fitter than most as well.
There is no u20s side at SRD. It is u19s now and the rules for that comp don't allow any over age players. Niall Evalds is too old so has been sat twiddling his thumbs since the start of the season and has probably become totally hacked off!

| There's a double link here: Alex Davidson was born in Barrow and is on a DR loan to Oldham.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

And they played him at 13 not 9, which will have made a diference

Alex is certainly on loan to Oldham, but I'm sure that you will find that he was not born in Barrow. Max Wiper, who came through Salford's Academy, came from Barrow and now plays for them, as did one or two ex Academy players last season.

| I am happy to be corrected as my knowledge of our "academy players" is limited.
However:"DAVIDSON, Alex: Prop-forward. Barrow born, raised in Wigan, played early rugby at Blackbrook (St Helens), then signed for Salford, from which club he is now at Oldham on season-long loan. Like many of our younger players, he is well known to coaches Scott Naylor and Lee Spencer from his time with the Red Devils. D-O-B 1/11/92." from the Roughyeds site.

| Player going out and a player coming in today according to Barker. Both loan deals with the one coming in a local lad.

| It was never going to be Kalumn Watkins was it
Chuffed for Niall though, needs regular game time. Barrow have got a cracking prospect on their hands there.
