| It's brand new and shiny, it's got lovely blue seats and it belongs to someone else.
The Willows had history and atmosphere, it was Salford through and through.
I've heard all the arguments about why we had to move and I've tried hard to get enthused about the new season all to no avail.
8,000 average gate next season? They're havin' a laugh!

Does is matter to you as you've said your not going next season, FFS man you make an issue of blue seats!
I give up as you patently couldn't do enough to placate some of you people.

| RR if you can get down there for a look round it will blow your mind how good it is.
The fans make the stadium and having better facilities will only add to the match day experience

It's brand new and shiny,it's got some lovely blue seats and it belongs to someone else, who have provided what we needed.
The Willows had history and atmosphere, it was Salford through and through. and the one a Barton can get the same very quickly too.
I've heard all the arguments about why we had to move and I've tried hard to get enthused about the new season all to no avail but there again who am I all I want is it to fail.
8,000 average gate next season? They're havin' a laugh!'" But there again I might be wrong as the crowds could rise and sing the song "Whose missing the Rooted Red

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all.

| Am I alone in thinking it looks like The Stoop, except yours doesn't have those weird floppy ear things on the ends of one of the stands?
In any case it might not be The Willows but it looks good and keeps you in SL. If Wakey end up with something similar I would be happy enough.

| Alley Cat, it feels like a cross between the Stoop and Halliwell Jones, hopefully start to just feel like home really soon. But good to see Wakey get something similar!

Lovely that stadium Mich mate.Nice Blue and red seats and yes the playing surface looks superb.I just hope that your club will be able to afford the weekly rent as of course you don't own it.
Merry Christmas and a very happy new year to my favourite board buddy.

| Some great pics there mate. Does anyone know if they have taken anything from the Willows and installed it at Barton? at Citys new ground they have taken the old ceramic entrance sign from Main Rd and installed it in the garden of rememberence.

| I don't think 8k is unreasonable, the usual Salford lot, the previous disenfranchised lot, the newbies and the intrigued away fans.
Could even push 10 for Wigan, Wire, Saints, Leeds and Hull.

| Enjoy your new home Reds you deserve it and it looks great. I will be there on the 7th being a Leyther and will be hoping we can pip you to the post again. Something tells me Mr Vievers won't let that happen. I have posted on our forum what a good piece of design your new place is and when the sun is low early on in the season and towards the end of it and you are in the east satand you will realise why. Having said all this it's not as good as ours. He, he.
