On the injury front he's had a good run and is no more injury prone than any other forward.
Personally though i think our club might throw a big contract his way in some sort of coaching/ambassador role.'"
This.
And Wire fans, how could you forget Jon Roper?

Funnily enough: Daily Star ( bit.ly/oRyTnP)
SALFORD are ready to offer Adrian Morley a two-year deal to come home.
The Reds, set to move a new stadium next season, want to tempt local lad Morley away from Warrington.
Veteran prop Morley, 34, is under contract to Wolves until the end of next year.
The England prop has skippered the Wolves to back-to-back Wembley triumphs.
Last month he denied he was heading to the Reds when they made Aussie Matt Parish their new coach.
But Warrington last week signed prop Chris Hill, 21, from Leigh as his long-term replacement.
Meanwhile, Widnes are close to signing former Bradford and Wigan loose forward Mark Flanagan, 23, from Wests
Tigers ahead of their return to Super League next year.

Think of all the ex Wigan, Saints, Bradford and Hull players Salford have signed.....all the ambitious clubs get their players raided by the Reds flashing their cash. Salford are like the Real Madrid of RL.

| It was a mistake to make a thread on here involving anything to do with Warrington. It just attracts their high quality, and knowledgeable fan-base over to the Turkey, where they will proceed to Lord-it-up over everyone else. Quick to forget what it was like to be a struggling Club for donkeys years.

| The only Warrington based player Wire should have mentioned is Andy Coley .
It used to be Leeds, Saints & Wigan that took talent , now it's flash the cash SJM.
I don't have an issue with this aslong as it's all within legality.
If Salford had money to burn , we'd cherry pick best British talent from our neighbours too .
Morley has missed his chance, the same way Betts had. to play for his hometown club and everytime we are linked with him it annoys me, it made sense on his return from Sydney Roosters, pointless now.
The money it would take to get him will be better spent building for the future and making sure the youth development potential is maximised so the next Betts . Morley or Watkins isn't taken from under out noses. Parish's remit is to develop from within where possible.

That's my thinking on it, yes I'd take him no worries on that although it would be on the proviso that we add another experienced prop to our ranks maybe an overseas player.

| No, not for me. I'm struggling to see how we really mean that much to him given he has turned us down twice, which just leaves you with the reality that he's a great prop who is on the verge of falling to pieces.

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| Not for me either. One thing is for sure if Warrington were to release him it would be because Tony Smith thought he was just about ready for the knackers yard.

| No,think the days of us signing injury prone players should be over.
He has missed enough at Warrington with injuries,we need to turn a corner regarding this issue

| I'm gonna play Devil's advocate here...
We all agree that a successful team needs a mix of all age groups. Youthful energy, speed and fitness. Couple that with Experience, knowledge, and being on top of your game. Teams of youngsters while enthusiastic are never going to be competitive.
With this in mind, which positions should your older players play in. Winger? Centre?
The only obvious choice is in the forwards. So why would the fact that Morley is in the twilight of his career be such a massive no-no for some? You could say injuries and recovery, but that applies to all players irrespective.
As for me prsonally, I don't really have any strong views on signing him. if he comes, ok. If not i wont lose any sleep.

| Playing aside, is there a more promotable rugby league star, promotable to Salford people and its amateur clubs, than Adrian Morley. Probably not.
