It may be one option but not without risk.
Noble's unattched and could come in on an short term contract til the end of the season. he already worked with Vievers etc and could ' steady the ship'. but quick fix option although they may fix our leaky defence, wouldn't help with keeping key players and bringing in new talent for the new stadium.
If a overseas Coach is interested it would mean quitting part season . comming across without having had a proven track record in SL or adapting to living in the UK, no knowledge of the UK based English or overseas based Players over here.
So to me that mean's South's Kurt Wrigley is a huge risk.
Noble is a safer Bet but not my ideal choice.
Adrian Lam would be an intriguing possibility but doubtful , due to take over at the St George Dragons in 2012 and has been quoted that Wigan would be the only SL club that could change his mind.
So it's Vievers until the end of the Season with an overseas coach appointed but directing 2012 contracts and recruitment?
Or it's Noble then and on a longer term contract is my bet ( if not my dream choice )as to me he's the only candidate who meets the two issues:-
Someone free now to address the on field issues , with a record of Bradford - Wigan & GB + getting a half decent season out of Crusaders. and given a remit to tie key players and sign for 2012.
It's Wilkinsons way, rather than act decisively pre-season we're changing Coaches half way through a do or die season. Our last 5 Head coaches have come in mid season . ...................Oh the joy of being a Salford Fan
