| Quote OrdsallRed="OrdsallRed"It would mean we would continue our boring, dull brand of rugby though.
If we made changes I'd prefer to see someone with a track-record of playing nice-to-see attacking rugby and not more of the same we've had for the past 5 years or so.'"
Well said that man!
Saturday was an example of how dull and predictable we have become under Mcrae.
Even in the wet conditions at least celtic tried to play rugby , where as throwing the ball wide seemed an alien concept to some of our lads
I want to be entertained when i go to a game but can anyone actually say were being entertained at the moment!

Totally agree.
Just watch the teams he coaches play, it is totally different to the first team.
I would also have Malcolm Alker as an assistant.
The sooner McRae is shifted upstairs away from front line coaching the better for me.
BTW Noble as Salford coach....

| I agree with what people say about both McCrae and Noble. It would be the worst move we could make and we do play a boring style of rugby under McCrae.
However PIPO, I was royally entertained by the lads against Saints and do you know why? Because they threw the McCrae game plan out of the window in the first half and went for it. Arguably our best performance of the season and it didn't have a McCrae thought in sight.
Pity we reverted back to listening to the dullard on saturday

so which one of you is talking out of their backside then?

| The club needs a cheating, dirty coach of the like never seen before. We currently adopt a style which is ever so compliant with the rules and regulations but which referees don't seem to recognise.
We'd say that Salford have consistently played by the rules i.e. no forward passes (barring the one in the Hull FC game), no holding down, no deliberate high shots, no offside, no taking out the in-play kicker etc,.
Let's have a coach who treats the rules like all the other more successful coaches and makes Salford a more competitive team!
What was it Alec Murphy used to say " Salford will never win anything because they are too nice" or words to that effect!!!

| That's for you to decide Baldfella isn't it, but when did we last play that style of rugby under McCrae. His game plans involve 5 dumb-ass forward drives and a kick down field usually straight down the throat of the full back who returns the ball with interest and we end up defending our own line again within 2 tackles.
We even played that way in some games in NL1 last year when we should have been running the opposition all over the park and tiring them out rather than making it easier for them by 1 man s**te up the middle.
Coaches talk about game plans like there's no opposition!!! Kenny Gill never played to a game plan... he just played.... and we won the league twice in 2 years with him at 6.
Here's my game plan for the Cas match on friday. Let Stefan Ratchford boss the show like he did against Saints and lock McCrae and Father Ted in the Willows where they can't do any harm!!!!!

| well that could be a interesting thing, Noble comes in, succesful at Bradford, ok at wigan will command repect, Mcrae moves upstairs into a Director of rugby role, he is a big name, has coached at the top level for years will entice bigger players with him and Noble at the club didnt he have a simuar role in oz before he came here.
Would leave Mr Simms in a dodgy position tho but at least we would have a comparison to compair with then.
As for having favourites Mcrae has his and plays his too so i dont think that would change too much
