| I have to agree. Every aspect of that was dreadful. Not one single positive and as worse a show in both attack and defense as I've witnessed so far this weekend. Where do you go from here ?

| absolute utter garbage, pack too lite with little or no impact what so ever and as for running from deep onto the ball and backing up if we cant master this simple school boy task you may aswell leave feka at the hotdog stand every week as hes going to be useless.
Trouble is people may say we have numerous players out, but we are going to be in this position many more times this season and I just cant pull any positives from that performance which is a shame as we "looked" the part in the new strip

| Shocking embarrasment, have to agree McRea has to go, and he can take the Simms with him.
We need a coach that has some defensive Knowledge, Mcrea obviously does'nt cos nothing has changed!!

| Same old e, notoriously slow starters under McRae however that's probably the worst its ever been. No one can hold their head up after that performance, going to be another long season.

| new players in, supposedly with more quality but same old SH#TE! Every mistake/penalty conceded they scored pretty much off the back of! Not only the players fault but the coaching staff!

| Not much difference from last year tbh. We've got a good squad but can't match other teams intensity and organisation. This is the job of one man and he doesn't seem interested himself. Would hate to see what we'd be like when we didn't train well!!!!
I accept its early doors and the witch hunt has started but Mcrae should have gone last year. Big cheque for Brian Noble, I think.

| Have to think it's a bit of a Groundhog Day, every season there is optimism for what lies ahead and then the cack hits the fan very early in the peace.
Do have to admit that SM has got to be looked at as the root cause, sad as it may be the terrible plight of Wakefield might be a saving grace for SM, if he's coach at the start of next season there is something seriously wrong. Do think we'll improve greatly on today's performance over the season but as a club we will not progress with any great meaning with the current coach in charge.
As a side issue think the text coverage on the fishal site is good think the fact that they steadfastly refuse to put any negative comments from fans on is poor, if your going to offer the none traveling fans an option to comment don't expect it to be all positive when the fair on offer is as poor as todays.

| I wouldn't really argue wit most people's views of Mcrae but we seem to be the same every year whoever the coach is. We've played that badly and worse over whole seasons under Gregory, Mccormack, Harvey, Harrison and now Mcrae. Admittedly we did also have a good season under Greg and Rhino but how can it all be down to Mcrae when we've been consistently poor for so long?

| Question :
how do you make eight good or even world class signings look dreadful
Answer: put them in a Salford shirt
Shameful and shambolic Mcrea must go, a very very average Crusaders side looked like worldbeaters today against a side who were disinterested clueless unfit lightweight and without leadership.
Positives : Godwin gets banned so Ratchford might, just might get selected.

A major part of our problems have been down to not progressing, when we've got up a little bit of momentum. The season Andy Gregory got us into the top half of the table, we had some of the most awful luck with injury the following season. Then the man and club seemed to fall apart in unison. Big Karl, minus the personal issues, had a similar problem, with more injuries than a team with limited strength in depth could handle. I have to admit if Harrison was still in charge, our fortunes would have been considerably brighter. The team always had more shape and managed to get more of the basic stuff right.
When you look at our recruitment for the season following our play-off appearance, you have to wonder if the collective money we spent on Korki and Edmondson would have been more wisely spent on getting Mozza in? One player spent more time sat on the treatment table, than playing, and the other, despite a massive heart, gave away stupid penalties and coughed up possession like he got four points for an error.
Going off what happens on the pitch, it appears that when a player has weaknesses is his game McRae does nothing to improve that player. Ratchford hasn't progressed, Adamson is being stiffled, defensively Gibson and Broughton look a shdow of the players that arrived last season, Cashmere makes less metres than he did in his first season, Henry looked solid in defence at first, Sidlow doesn't seem to be progressing. Add to that we lost Turner and Myler.
I have no idea what goes on during in training, but I'd be giving every single player at least an extra hour of training each day, in order to work on their weaknesses.

| Biggest anti climax ever? All this build up for that. We need to put burgers at the other end for feka to get a bit of pace on. McRae may aswell have played. It's a lot of negativity after one game but look who we have on Friday. Not getting any easier is it
