| With the news Sheens has gone, looking increasingly likely Marwan will go (wouldn't trust a word he says) and impending relegation where an earth does it leave this once great club?
Could we carry on at the AJ Bell in the lower tier? I think not, I feel sorry for the blindly loyal few and deeply saddened how it has all gone I have made many of my long standing friends through watching this club on the terraces and had to some of the best days of my life through Salford RLFC, future generations (including my little brother whose just fell in love with it) have lost out on a chance like this due to certain peoples negligence running the club.
Sorry to be all doom and gloom but I know it's what I and many others are thinking. Such a bast@rd shame

| Well said Solly, NEGLIGENCE is definitely the disease that killed Salford RLFC. Too many Authur Daley's running the show, moving to the white elephant has proved the biggest Brain Fart in the history of Salford RLFC, I can still hear the ripples of that cataclysmic Wilky brain fart.
A move to Agecroft seems the only logical way to rebuild the club. The White Elephant needs slinging, let Sale slum there at that sewage pile. A match made in hell.

| I hate to add to the doom & gloom but I can't help but agree with Solly. I'm one who tries to keep positive (you have to be that way as a Salford fan) but at the moment this is the lowest I've felt about the club in my lifetime. Even when we were last relegated you felt we could bounce back from it, but if we go this time I fear it's going to be the end of the line.
All the news about Sheens & MCB today just confirms to me that people are jumping ship as the Doc is offski. Frankly it stinks that they would announce Sheens is moving to one of our rivals before we could possibly face them in the MPG - it shows total disrespect and means there will be a conflict of interest should we face them. Aside from that, in recent months I feel even the hardcore the fans have slowly been giving up - the points deduction completely deflated the club and fans. I lost my grandad this year, used to go to the games with him...was hoping that one day I'd see us winning at Wembley and be able to imagine how pleased he would be if he was here. To think that I face the possibility of not having a club to support anymore if we drop out of Superleague is massively upsetting.
Sorry for being OTT

| The last match I attended was THE last match.......at the beloved Willows. I considered it to be 'The End' when we left. However, I have continued to follow the Club's fortunes from further afield and I'd just like to say how sad it is to see where the club are today following yet another set of false dawns.
I'd like to express my admiration for those of you who have continued to support the Team in recent times and I sincerely hope that Salford somehow find a way back and reward your loyalty. Best of luck to you all, no-one deserves it more!

| With your awful attendances this year your fans have let the club down the most?

Not at all. We were getting 4-5 thousand but after the news of the 6 points taken off it dropped loads. I for one think the attendances have been higher than what salford say on their social media pages.

What a completely ridiculous post
What would you know about supporting a club like ours? A stadium miles out of the way of our main supporter base with a lack of decent transport links, year upon year of misery on the pitch, year upon year of farcical ownership especially from the current guy who has turned us into a laughing stock and that's just a brief summary of why nobody goes and why should they?
A Saints fan coming on here and preaching to us about turning up to games, hilarious

Just goes to show how little you know about what has been going on at Salford. I would applaud those fans including myself who have stuck it out for the last 3 years despite MK & the rugby league vendetta in our soulless ground away from the very heart of Salford. The 6 points was for many the final nail, now we playing mind games with MK "is he going or is he staying, engineered exit I guess"?
We also have a guarded threat that the rugby league intend to punch the club for the trouble at Huddersfield, this just happens to be around the time of the MPG (STILL NOT UNDERSTAND)

| I've real mixed feelings here.
To see the club in this state is a real shame for rugby league as a whole.
The move to the new stadium has had a big effect, as has MK's often ill-thought out comments and general friction with the authorities.
But in all honesty Salford have struggled over the last 20+ years and haven't really mounted a challenge for honours.
I can still remember ending Wigan's CC run though - fantastic match on the Beeb I think.
I feel for all the staff and fans.
It's clearly not looking good.

| More problems still to come with the Salford fans fighting among themselves at Huds.Dont understand a team from Salford not being able to play million pound game at a stadium in Salford and Sale being given preference over the local club.

| I feel for the genuine Salford fans. There but for the grace of God.....from a Wakefield point of view.
We have suffered almost as much as you in recent times but have been lucky enough to escape it each time. I feel if we'd have been in the middle 8s this year we'd be gone and not even have a shout of the MPG. You do at least have a couple of chances, with your remaining fixtures you could still finish 3rd, if not you have the MPG.
Personally I hope you avoid the drop and wish you good luck with it.

Thanks for your positive comments, its good to see Wakefield doing well as we have both over time been the wipping boys.

C C, the breeding patterns in Salford are not as intra-family as you seem to be used to.

Well spotted HR ,I meant to say if you get relagated, what players are available?Salford are nailed on for the MPG,it's then a matter of who holds their nerve best, and I hope it's Salford.
The AJ Bell is only 10 minites from where I live, but the pies are terrible.Good Luck for the rest of the 8's.
