I would have thought that the club should have been notified of the date before the press,or is that being a little picky?

No I would have thought it was common courtesy to tell the club first

Maybe the League Express is now running the R F L .

Well that fill me with confidence, the guy is too close & is to emotional to front his case. Needs to be presented in a professional & clinical way, I bet the RFL are rubbing there hands.

Could it be that his legal team WONT represent him as they don't think he has a case to appeal? Resulting in Marwan fronting it himself

Its an appeal.He has to take something to the table that contradicts the original decision.He either has the proof or doesn't,theres no case to be presented,thats already done and dusted.

I didn't think that was the case. I thought the appeal is based on the fact that Marwan thought that the RFL were being unreasonable in their judgement and unduly harsh in their punishment. That he didn't think the original independent body was truly independent. This appeal is in front of an independent body that he selected to see whether they believe the RFL have been unfair.

From what I can remember of the press conference, MK didn't deny that the club went over the cap, but he said it was the RFL fault for not de-registering one player in time to register Locke. And he disputed the amount we went over by.

Two dates are mentioned on here and elsewhere - is there any confirmation as to whether it's the 4th or 6th?

Is the date for when the hearing is held or when the panel's decision is announced. Or are both on the same day.

If the hearing for the points deduction is today, does anyone know the time of it
