| Major changes needed.
Giving Sau a new two year deal has already proven to be a mistake.
Our wingers never see the ball. Griffin and Sau are just used as extra props by Harris. Need mobility and pace in the centre position in the modern game.
Like I've said, major changes needed.

| Bored of people claiming Mario is Barker. Give it a rest.
I also agree with everything Mario says, giving Sa'u a two-year extension is stupid decision. Just because he tweets and slaps everyones hand after a home game, doesn't warrant a place in a top 8 Super League team. He would have been ideal back in the dominate Bradford days when big bulldozing centres were the order of the day, but today you need to be quick, agile with great hands - everything Junior unfortunately isn't.

I actually think Sau is the victim of IH coaching rather than being a poor centre.
I provided stats on another thread on assists for last season and this. Sau was our second highest assist/try-maker in 2014 behind Chase who was massively ahead of everyone. Now, to me it seems odd that a player who is the teams second highest on assists seems to be targeted for being a one trick pony who never offloads. Admittedly, this season he's way down on that, but, so is everyone else. Considerably.
For me our game plans and tactics seem to be aimed towards using everyone except Chase as a battering ram. We've got really fast wing options yet they rarely see open-play ball. Why? Gameplan.
I'd put money on Sau being twice the player he is under different coaching.

Call him Neil then JGR. It is the man. I just dont agree with all his points of view - mind you that`s why its a Forum. Still feel we should target that young Wigan lad who joined us on loan when we saw some excellent centre play.

That's alright then to give him the extension as he is not in a top eight Super League team

| A good centre finds the right running line, takes the ball at pace, attempts to draw in his oppenents and feeds his winger. Or they have the speed to go himself and make a line break. Sadly we haven't got centres with speed and handling skills so they just drive the ball in as hard as they can. This kind of junior school rugby isn't going to help put bums on seats at Barton.

Letting people in for free, is overcharging for what gets served up

I'm surprised we haven't tried to resign Stuart Littler for cover if these tactics are part of the Harris masterplan. Say's it all when we played Cory at Centre v Catalan and it was head and shoulders our best centre performance over the past two years. Would anyone disagree?

I totally agree. Did what a centre needs to do, runs in the ball, draws in the opposition and passes to the winger. Sounds simple, especially with two of the fastest wingers in the league!

I agree with that, thought Oliver Gildart played really well in his brief spell with us. I seen him play for Workington at the Big Bash weekend and was just as impressive.
We've also got Jake Bibby in the academy who is knocking on the door of a first team call-up. Unfortunately due to the change in league structures and the reintroduction of P&R I cant see him getting a chance this season.

| How long did Josh Wood get against Warrington, couldn't have been more that 7-8 minutes. I'd rather see what our academy lads have to offer over than a kid from Wigan because of being at "Wigan"
