Hood proving he's a future star for the club, surely we have someone in the lower grades capable of making the step up?

What happens if Hood picks up an injury or suspension? Whilst Rangi is out Theo cant fill in, so it makes sense. Just not sure if Wagga is the man but for a short term loan deal it does make sense.

Seems like a smart move to me. If Hood got injured we'd be in real trouble. Have we got anyone in the juniors who could do the job?
If Locke isn't going to play, which is looking like a possibility, that means Fages will need to stay in the halves for at least the next six games.
Bringing in another hooker gives Harris the option of spelling Hood, as long as Godwin goes well. Can't see too many other option in terms of experienced, available,specialist hookers.
(Unless Howarth's noyt happy with the amount of game time he's getting at Hull)

I think the saw the issue with playing Hood for the full 80 on Sunday. It was by far his quietest game for us so far, which isn't a surprise given that he needed to play the full 80 for the first time this season. When he has previously been used in spells with Lee he brings those bursts of energy around the ruck, perhaps Wagga will allow him to do that.

I don't think Wagga ever let us down previously, seems a sensible option for us though obviously not ideal! |
