| I only switched over just before Chapman asked Noble the question about interference - did I miss much?

Confirmed what we know. Met with Koukash and Vickers on Friday, Marwan explained he wanted to go down a different route with regards to coaching. Noble said he was shocked, surprised and disappointed and needed time to consider the implications of the Director of Football position.
Spoke well of the players and Marwan though.

| Still saying "us" and "we" when talking about Salford. Has a lot of class, and talks sense - would like to think that there is still a role for him. He was on Fighting Talk on Radio 5 live yesterday and was vey funny. I guess he made commitments to the BBC long before the recent decision re his job, but still has the balls to go through with the work and without bad mouthing us. Honesty can be refreshing.

| No doubt he has a lot to offer, questionable whether that is in a coaching capacity though. You always have to ask if the rumours of players criticising Noble are true, is it best for all parties he they go their separate ways.

| Said it long ago but Brian Noble would do wonders for Salford and RL in general if he took up a roll away from coaching.
To hear him speaking today you realise what a gent and professional he is.

| References to taking legal advice - not sure whether that was a pragmatic comment or carefully chosen comment.

| Very carefully chosen.
The Club will also have taken legal advice, obviously.
My take on the situation is that the offer of the job upstairs is a legal manoeuvre and neither party expect that to happen .
Replacing Nobby will either be a very smart move or the biggest mistake that MK has made so far.
I hope it's the former !

| I'm sure someone technically minded can soundcloud the preamble where Mark Chapman pretty much asked him straight out what the situation was and it took up the 1st 5 minutes.
Truthfully he stated the facts of the offer made to him Friday by Martin Vickers & Marwan very placidly , said he would
wait for more on the scope of the proposed new position so he could make an informed decision, asked more he started to expand then halted himself when asked whether the owner had any involvement in coaching decisions , saying it would be unwise to say more as obviously legal advise was being taken .
bearing in mind i believe both previous coach & football Manager have won unfair dismissal claims I would suspect both parties are going to be careful in what they say.

| Thanks for the update i missed that bit but noticed later when asked about saints success Nobby put it down to Nathan Brown being afforded the luxury of time by the board and it was paying off this season. These may not be the exact words but they were to that effect.

I stand to be corrected but doesn't Noble have the better record ?
