i just don`t think they should be involved in any dialogue the video refs have , there in direct coms with them and it shouldnt be right , i didnt see the end of the game but i saw i saw 2 video ref decisions the amor and laffranchi tries and both times they were on about double movements and grounding , time will come when 1 of skys blue riband sides will come unstuck against say salford , and stevo will try to influence a decision , big screen replays should be there for every fixture or none at all and this is another reason why

In any event,I think they should have video professionals operating the kit,and refs making the decisions.
It's painful,and there's enough pressure making the decision in timely fashion without faffing about with the kit

The VR's don't get the commentary. Even if they did surely if any of them were tempted to base their interpretations of the laws of the game on Stevo's bizarre drivel they'd be immediately removed from the refereeing roster and promptly sectioned.

He is one or the reasons I will not invest in SKY currently, while he is obviously a fan of the game it is also obvious that he is more and more distant from the realities of the game currently. I agree Andrew Voss would be my choice but you have to wonder if SKY could tempt him to relocate to the UK and then would they give a team worthy of his talents or make ends meet?. I quite like John Kear when he speaks about the game as he does from both a coaches and a fans perspective, anyone who has seen the series on SLTV of him helping to preview this coming season will know he is very good value for money.
