| With all the promoting and events the doc has been putting on. What crowd should we expect for the first game? The last time there was any sort of rebrand, it was when we changed to the city reds form just the reds.
Now back then in 2001 I think we pulled in 6500 against Gateshead thunder, who brought no away following. If we could attract a crowd of home fans like that with the team we had then, what can we expect this time around? With the docs money, better team, better stadium, better advertising surely we could equal that crowd or maybe even surpas it?

| I think anything between 5500 & 6500 is good to be honest. I can't see Wakey bring that many fans.
Personally, I can't wait until it all begins & I like the fact its on a Sunday too. I've booked the Monday off work, so I can have more than a few beers

| With all the promotion for this game and the effort Marwan and the club have gone through to sell the club I'd be very disappointed with 5500/6500, if we get 8000 min I'd be happy especially as it's a Sunday game and the Yorkshire lot can all make the game and so can 90% of home fans.
I'm predicting around 8/9000 honestly I think people are really buying into marwans visions.

I can see Wakey bringing a really good number. First game of the season on a Sunday, the fact that a lot of Wakefield fans hate us (like the rest of the rugby league family) and they will be wanting to see us fail and spoil our big day. I expect them to bring between 1000-1500.

I hope so mate, it'll make for a good atmosphere if they turn out.

| I think we need to coincide a good attendance with an impressive victory to entice some newcomers back for a bit more.
I reckon it'll be close to the 6K mark.

| I think 8000 but everything needs to be in place on the transport front. Plenty of time to get this right.Does the Club have any influence on the car parking? With a little bit of foresight this could be vastly improved.

| If I remember rightly, we got battered in the game against Gateshead back in 2001 when we got 6500 home fans. That coincided with the pasting we got off Catalans at home when we had 10.000 plus home fans for that last game at the willows.
Now new fans to any sport aren't going to get excitement out of watching the team they've decided to support battered. Unfortunately the both times we've had big crowds at home we've been embarrassed, so no matter how many new fans turn up it's down to the devils to preform and win well, which I think they will.

| Let's hope the weather is a tad better than it was for the first game at the stadium - remember Castleford in the snow?
That could well be the defining factor in mid February

| Last Season when asked about marketing & ticketing deals to attract new fans it was pointless withthe quality & results the team were delivering .
there is a alot resting on the opening fixtures , especially the wakey game.
the 1st home game of 2011, with a host of new signings & pledges to make the playoffs, against St Helens we had a 6,000 crowd, were on the end of a 56-22 pasting, and crowds had dropped to below 3,000 by march.
We've 13 players new to Salford who've got to hit the ground running , a couple of dud performances could have an impact on the new & lapsed speccies , two or three impressive wins however could set the bandwagon rolling , high stakes .

| Its going to be a full house for the first game but will they be able to maintain it for a full season. If we are in a good position come the last 4 games of the season then expect more full houses as those last 4 games are very winnable and the right results could see us in the play offs

| I'd be very worried that the people from the SMC couldn't cope with a full house. The Doc address the issues we all experience when attending games as a matter of urgency, to many times the little things fall apart meaning it ruins the experience. At least I can make sure that they have enough gas to get the beer through the pumps, anyone work for a brewery to make sure they order enough kegs
Might be a business opportunity to lob a few crates of beer in the boot off the car and sell cans as it'll be the only beer available come half time.

| theres been a few times in an empty stadium i`ve found an away supporter in my seat because a group 4 clown has said just sit there , i would genuinely fear for crowd safety if we got a full house with those idiots running security
