| Can I just check whether it is just likely to be those players out of contract who will be allowed to go, or do fans anticipate any other players being released "by mutual consent" or whatever. Given the good Doctor is anticipating another couple of signings on top of those already made.
I suppose I am also asking if there will be anyone worth picking up from those allowed to go?

| I'd imagine we'll try and offload Howarth who's still under contract for next year. As for the rest, I think the OOC list will pretty much be it.

| Jewitt and Wilde are supposed to be leaving.Jewitt is being looked at by a few NRL clubs. He would certainly be worth signing.Think a lot of Salford fans would like to see him stay but he is obviously not part of the clubs plans.

Yes Jewitt is picking up lots of NRL interest, which suggests that is where he may be headed, they can certainly offer better deals than we are likely to be able to offer and it must be tempting to test your skills in the best competition there is, if you get the chance!

| I asked Lee on Friday night what he was doing and he said he didn't know. I asked would he like to stay at Salford and he responded "YES". So it's certainly not him from the way he answered that is looking to leave and more not factoring in to future plans.

| I'd like to keep Lee, could be one to bite us on the back side in a couple of years. I think he'll mature into a very good prop.
Would be interesting to see what happens with McGoldrick, I personally think he's performances improved a lot towards the back end of the season but I just cant see him getting anywhere near the 17 next year.

And reportedly earning a big chunk of change. If the club were looking at releasing extra salary cap space then i think he could well be let go.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll

I don't rate him (McGoldrick that is), but he offers lots versatility and I think he will stay and get a lot of game time next season, due to injuries. He'll never be first choice in any, but will cover nearly everywhere on the park about from Winger and Prop.

| Does he carry an exemption from your non-federation trained quota, if not that could be a good reason for him to go. He is always one of those players that everyone hates and yet he always seems to do a job wherever he goes. Gets under the opposition players skin and can be a real pain unless he gets sorted!

He's been over here since pre-2008 so is exempt from the Fed rules.

| I asked McGoldrick on twitter the other day & his answer was he's staying next year at the moment. Make of that what you will but suggests to me it's not cut & dried.

| McGoldrick signed a two year deal , so officially he's here until end of 2014.
way things are Noble is looking to squeeze every opportunity to utilize what remaining cap there is. so I would be surprised if they wanted to loan / move him especially if he's contract was a hefty one .
