I know everyone's going to think I'm being stupid here probably but ,do you think that possibly the horse running called rangi chase at Haydock could somehow tie into his deal?? if Chase owned the horse and marwan ran it fed bathed it you get the idea, would this come under the salary cap? just a thought

Lets say chase owns the rights to his name, in order to name the horse he needs his permission to use the name and a tidy sum in the process.??

I seriously doubt it. For a start, the horse is an unknown and therefore you cant really put a value on it's potential winnings.

Plus he has also named a horse "Brian Noble" so it clearly is just a bit of a laugh and the Dr is showing a sense of humour.

and also, he's kind of giving the game away if he calls the thing Rangi Chase isn't here.
If you are going to give a back door benefit, wouldn't you keep it a secret.

Having horses named after certain people within the game doesn't necessarily mean they've signed for Salford. For example, Marwan hasn't got a horse called Francis Meli running, or a horse called Junior S'au running, or a horse called Steve Rapira running, or a horse called Adrian Morley heading for the knackers' yard. I think people (Cas fans, mainly) perhaps read too much into this, because, although I wouldn't be surprised if it [iwas[/i part of the deal, if you look at the two horses named after RL people (Brian [iNoble[/i and Rangi [iChase[/i), you can see their names contain words that relate to horses and horse racing in some way. Maybe it's nothing more sinister than that.

I can guarantee you if his name was 'John Smith' you wouldn't get any of these baseless comments about his commitment to the club. Gets on my nerves.

I'm pretty sure that any rugby league fan would love their team to be in the position we are now. Ive spent 20+ years waiting to become a force in rugby and have watched all decent talent at our club leave to join the elite clubs , which I don't disagree with as at the end of the day this is a players livelihood/ambition.

The fans had better turn up next year with these signings
