Great result and a battling performance from the lads against Catalan, unfortunately the attendance was shockingly low yet again. Have the fans who used to come to The Willows just deserted the club now or lost interest in the game? Are people just waiting until we have a good team and then come flooding back??

I am really excited for the next few seasons to see what kind of quality players we can bring in, but I am a bit worried that we might struggle to get above the 4000 mark for attendances. Come on so-called fans, (at the risk of sounding like a ed Delia Smith) - WHERE ARE YOU??

Come on. No pre season. No season tickets sold before the start of the season. No team to speak of. Nothing to play for this season except pride (well done everyone concerned for last night).

Next season we will have a good team, a good coaching structure, we will be competing with and beating the better teams regularly.

A good bit of pre season marketing should do the trick.

Yes and it's still cheaper than the rent for an empty tin box. It's taken years for ours to become undesireable , but you rent on that looks built to be undesireable.

Wheldon Rd has always looked undesirable. Can't remember it ever looking in good shape.

Thats probably why we have been trying to move to Glasshoughton for the last 10 years. Atmosphere is still great at Wheldon Road though and when its full - its rocking.

Why is it not full of salfords loyal supporters then if its such a pleasant place ? It's a dump , a new shiny dump but still a dump , the Willows was a better ground and so is Cas's home.

I think I know.An atmosphere is caused when someone begins to invest in a Super League club but decides it is better to give more to 2 clubs below them in the Championship.One of them being their good neighbours Featherstone.

Your OCD on our club really is pathetic. I can say with confidence that I never even give Cas a second thought unless we are due to play against you. Your obsession with slagging us off is due either to you being a very sad individual with nothing else in your life or fear of what Salford may become while you stagnate in an antiquated ground.

There are of course no certainties....we may not fulfil the promise and Cas may progress with new investment....who knows. However, petty insults and obsessional behaviour does you no credit.
