we dont want hunt as coach,we need a clean sweep.bring in a coach who can show us how to defend,get rid of the light weight forwards ,saints got rid of ashurst , dixon because they were to small,wild is past it ,get in a decent hooker.i know its going to take time but we need a good spine in the team.not some of these players that are here now.

hunt might be a ok guy,but after all the big talk we want a coach of the highest quality.someone to bring these big name players to salford.i think talking to a lot of salford fans they want the same.

I don't think Alan Hunte really wants the Head coach job. He is doing a good job with the youth and when he gets better finance and facilities.He will have a good youth set up,something we have never really had. In the past we have not been able to attract the good young players, having to compete with the Wigans and Leeds etc Now we should be able to attract the best. So why would Alan Hunte want to give up this great opportunity

Shed 222, You talk utter Rubbish ...both Ashurst and Dixon should be amongst the first 2 names on the team sheet.., for your information Saints didn't get rid of them, Saints didn't want either of them to go but both chose to move on because they wanted to start games. Other clubs were also in the market for both of them as well...the last thing you want to happen is for the chairman to have a complete clear out , he needs to bring in some new blood but also keep faith in your youngsters..
You mention not wanting Hunte, let me tell you that it's been Longy who has coached them since PV left, i'm sure Hunte has over seen things but the performance they put in on sunday was down to Sean Long.
