Martin Sadler editor of league express has tweeted he believes new owners are close - could be the reason vievers does not know his budget yet / players not being offered new deals ?

Hopefully this will be true! But we have seen many rumours spread around this year.

Jack deardon stated on radio Manchester that there was a roumor that good news would be announced at Salford reds very soon ,I certainly hope so.maybe that's why it's been so quiet recently ,not much coming out of the club.Any bets on who might be interested in taking the club on ? Will need plenty money and a lot of balls to come in and tell the existing wasters out you lot. No guesses for who should be first to go .

I'd be surprised if it was Sale beacuse the people who have tweeted or mentioned it were saying that it was good news for Salford fans - I doubt anyone in RL circles would greet a Sale takeover with anything other than caution.

If it were Sale it wouldn't be long before you had Kennedyitis, which could be worse than your present complaint.

Won't be long till your fully integrated with the kick and clap boys. Now then who agrees that the Rugby League should break away from Super League Europe, taking the challenge cup with it and let the clubs do what they do best play rugby to entertain spectators. Yes it would mean a drop in revenue short term but at least you won't be treated to the contempt you have by Sky making you move from your own ground. Plus you would play in meaningful leagues.

I can only imagine some of the heads that would explode at the Salford Star and in Swinton if the council get more involved.
