Does it say something about the current malaise amongst our support that it's now over two hours since the Huddersfield game ended and nobody's posted a thing about it? No score updates, no result, no opinions.

There was a sad inevitability about last night, it was staggering when we went in ahead at HT, but I think we all knew what was going to happen.
The malaise is quite palpable - I've watched Salford for about 20 years I think, and seen some dire performances, but I don't believe I've ever felt as depressed about the situation as I do at the moment.

Another 30 points conceded. Great defensive coach we have on board.

What typifies the problems with Salford and it's fans was apparent last night.

Was stood near an alleged fan who did nothing but berate every single thing any Salford players did even in the act of scoring, he steadfastly refused to applaud the players in any capacity and seemed only to glad to heap praise on anything that Hudds did.

I know it's his right to act this way but what is the point in even attending games if your not in the slightest bit interested in actually supporting your team.

Clearly the season has been over for a number of players for some weeks, end of season friendly if you ask me. As said even though we led going into the break I never thought once we would end up winning, very sad?

Don't get me wrong, I'll support Salford as long as I can. The depressing bit is that our resources mean our squad is always going to be small - notice that Huddersfield brought on nos 36 and 37 , do we go past 26? inevitability that means by this stage in the season as injuries kick in we are struggling to put out a coherent team - its been like that for years now and shows no sign of change - in fact if the rumours abounding have any truth then it could be even worse next season.

Crowd was 5234 which was 51% up on last year.

Not having that at all. It will be narrowed down in a couple of days as it usually is. I honestly think 3k was more realistic, Hudds had about 150 - 200 there, the south stand was the emptiest its been all season apart from the cup game against Leeds and so was the west stand.

Not trying to put a 'negative' spin on everything, there was just never in a million years 5k there last night!

We all know it's around the 3k mark, the only reason it seems they're falsifying these attendances is because it's very concerning when your first year in a new stadium and your crowd levels are lower than the willows. So the management add these attendances on vastly to save face

No way there was 5000 at last night game,there was no more than 3500 tops?

Even the South Stand was near empty, I was up in the West Stand first half and it was a sad sight. Cracking view of the Manchester skyline though.

Quick question to Dantes, if certain people at the club are ripping money off the club as you have claimed, why would they claim the gate was higher? You can't have it both ways lad.

If it's 3615 on Facebook, where did they get that original 5234 from? Have they added on non-showing ticket holders or something?
