Good effort but I also think that junior season ticket holders of Championship clubs should get free admision.

How junior? I'm sure under 12s can pretty much get free season tickets anyway.

Myself and my son Oliver are both Leigh season ticket holders. Oliver ( 14 years old) gets into all the Championship away games for free with his season ticket and any junior SL season ticket holder gets in to all SL games for free but they can't be used for each others league.

Looks like the club do read this site that is almost the same as I suggested a few weeks back.

People will still moan or try and beat the system its a good idea let's hope it works

To be honest the money was never an issue for me, although in saying that it is nice to see more family offers and the club trying to make it more attractive.

At the moment the problem I have is Friday nights as the kids are in bed for 7....that's what's keeping this family of 4 away.

I have to agree with dirk. If the club truly want to.encourage families the only way is to play on Sunday afternoon

Does anyone actually know what the figure of bums on seats is to make it more profitable for the club to play Saturday/Sunday rather than Friday for the Corporate bods?
It's OK people keep saying they can't make Friday but the club has come out and said that financially it makes sense for them to play Fridays so know how far short might let people how far short the club is from this.

The Hull KR game in a couple of weeks is basically a Sunday game (3pm kick off on a bank holiday). If people are so keen on Sunday rugby then I would hope they would make an effort to turn up for this game and encorage others to do so. Post a bumper crowd of towards 8000 for this game and who knows the club may re consider Friday night rugby. However if we are at the usual 5000 figure then there's no chance of the club changing games to Sundays.

Some people are "so keen" on Sundays because they don't have any other choice.

Although not worded the best I was actually agreeing with you. I think Sundays are a must now for Salford. Hopefully everyone with kids who can't make Fridays will bring them along to the Hull KR game and maybe make the club think twice about Friday nights.

The problem is Salford will use one poor attendance as a reason not to do it in future. Everyone knows Salford play on a Friday night so Tarry and the rest can have their weekends to themselves.
