What was meant to be one of the best, most exciting nights of my 40+ years watching Salford is my nadir!
We can't use the excuse that people won't turn up cos we play at the willows, that their cars might get knicked or that they can't get a decent pint!
Well, you may get a decent pint but your car certainly won't get knicked cos there is nobody about to knick it at this new gaff!
In short, after all the hype, the 10 years planning, the utter drivel spoken by fans on here claiming how hard done to we are, only 2700, yes 2700, paying Salford fans turn up!
Before you start, there were at least 1600 Cas fans, 600 corporates and 300 kids for free tkts in a crowd of 5250!
Ah it must have been the weather! Well it didn't stop the 25000 going to Trafford centre the other side of the sewage farm! We don't own the ground, don't get the tkt money, don't get the corporate!
Forgive me for being down, it's a disaster!

Shocking attendance I agree but would you pay to watch that if you were a neutral or newbie when its on telly, its snowing and it its -5 in the ground with the wind chill.
Until we have a team that can win on a regular basis or a sugar daddy ala Warrington then expect more of the same
