I think its important us fans and the club are singing from the same hym sheet when talking about transport to the new ground as we all need to get there

As for a park and ride scheme in cadishead. Your joking surely? All they would need would be a robin reliant to ferry the people. |

I suspect the nearest train sstation to the new stadium is Irlam (on the Irlam/Cadishead border). A bus from that area could be worthwhile. |

| Just wondering if the club could some how charter a boat from the quays to the ground. I may be wrong but isn't there a service already set up between Manchester and Liverpool at the moment that passes the new stadium. (hopefully with a licensed bar aboard) |

Mersey Ferries run a 6 hour tour between Quays and Liverpool a couple of times a week. The issue with a boat between teh Quays and the stadiium (as opoposed to the ones that run between town and Quays/Old Trafford for football is that you have to go through a set of locks that takes time and money, and I don't think there will be anywhere to moor by the stadium as the plan is for the land between the stadium and the canal to be railway lines servicing Port Salford.

Sorry but £4 to park on top of a £20 ticket and over priced beer is scandelous.
Parking should be free to anyone attending the game, we need all the bums on seats and simply put charging for parking will hit attendancies.

If your driving then you shouldn't be drinking beer so that argument shouldn't be an issue. If it's a car with multiple occupants then the whole price of petrol and parking would still work out cheaper than public transport you bunch of whingeing feckers!!!!!!! |
