I'd suggest the combination of Wakefield's troubles and the new ground are all that is preventing squeeky bum time amongst the powers that be at Salford.

I deffo agree with you there Michigan,if Wakey hadnt have gone into admin id seriously be touching cloth as we have done absolutely fooook all in any other areas!!!

Youth Development down to the good work Alan Hunte has done over the years.
Community work in the Local Schools and colleges and further affield.
Unfortunately these and the new stadium are overshadowed by the poop performances and the dropping attendances.
If it was not for Wakefields very sorry state then we would be the favourites to be booted out.

Wakefield might not be favourites to be booted out if their admission fee goes to £10 permanently and they start getting really good crowds as a result, not impossible.

Of course we deserve a franchise.
The teams form is irrelevant,otherwise every season would see the worst performing team excluded from the competition.
This should not even be a discussion thread,its an insult to those who are putting in so much effort.
And,the stadium would not have started unless we'd been given a steer that we are in next season.
How about some positive comments.

Come on get real - the £10 offer is a one off - their chairman has said he'll personally make up the difference to the real ticket price for every ticket purchased

And I couldn't agree more. Form is pretty much irrelevant.

Clubs are assessed on criteria in 5 key areas:
a. Commercial, Marketing, Media and Community.
b. Facilities.
c. Finance.
d. Governance and Business Management.
e. Playing Strength and Player Performance Strategy.

Clubs that meet all of the A Grade criteria across the 5 areas will be awarded an A Grade licence.  Clubs that materially meet all the A Grade criteria and/or satisfy the RFL that they will meet the criteria in the next round of licensing will be awarded a B Grade licence. 

You'll notice "e" further down on the list. We will be awarded a B grade license at very least.

I suggest folk do there homework or concentrate on over throwing SM before starting silly posts.

Its such a shame that we had a decent crowd in the other night for the first time in ages,and not many of em will be coming back for a while!!On the way to the toilets at half time i heard at least ten comments of people such as,"ahh well thats me done for the season".....one lad to his daughter who was one of young cheer leaders"i think ill just drop u off and pick u up afterwards in future princess" !!!etc etc

THE TEAMS FORM IS IRRELEVANT........................lets face it we have had no sort of form in the last 2 years,thats why we get perfetic crowds!!!

ITS AN INSULT TO THOSE WHO ARE PUTTING IN SO MUCH EFFORT......fair enough yes,but it is an insult to the loyal fans that have had spent there hard earnt wages on watching so much garbage under our coach who has taken us backwards not forwards!young players developed by alan hunte have either not had there chance and been off loaded else where or over shadowed and gone backwards under our current manangement regime who insist on wasting the clubs money on has been aussies and crooked players using us as a retirement home!!!tell me if im wrong but wasnt the franchise system designed and set up for clubs to develop and produce young local british talent,????you cant have been watxching the same team as me as players like ratchford(constantly over looked)or the likes of sidlow/adamson/jewitt etc have gone backwards in there game!!!

AS FOR POSITIVES,ill back-check our head coaches comments over the last 2 seasons as he always seems to find some after games regardless of the result lol!!
