Schifcofske deserved a bit of rough treatment as he'd been taking the p[ii[/iss with the way he was carrying the ball for the last 15 minutes, but that was ridiculous from Godwin. He'll probably get three games with a guilty plea.

Cowards way and at least a 5 match ban on its way.
The discipline in the team appears to have got worse.
3 players suspended and we are only one game in.

When a player carries the ball and is taking the p[ii[/iss like that every time he touches it you hit him hard and make sure he carries it properly the next time. You can give a player rough treatment legally you know - I'm not condoning anyone punching him in the face from behind  |

Stupid cheap shot that I'm not condoning but it would have never have come to that if Schifcofske hadn't chased after Nero for 10 meters to incite anyone else to react. The coming together of him and Nero was a nothing collision. Why wasn't Schifcofske also punished?

Godwin should never have reacted the way he did but when you see the opposition get away with thing you start to think you will too. I have a feeling this won't be the first sending off of the Super League season for us. |
