I dont want to start another moaning thread, however an old dear I was sat next to at the KR game pointed out how flat we are all the time and how Feka hasn't run from deep! why? why has he not run onto a ball at 1000mph like he did at Wigan. Why do we lack depth in attack, watching the tries from the KR game (again!) This guy hasn't got the greatest of pace from stand still so its obvious if he gets a flat pass he will be ineffective, and if some old dear (no disrespect) can spot something like this why cant the coach, then address it, it was the same in the previous 3 friendlies!

This is the tip of ice berg and I know its been touched on before as have a few of our other tactics, but my point is, its obvious basic stuff which can be coached. Christ Swinton have more depth than us. I really am tiring of our our ineffective rubbish tactics, and I wonder who's responsible for this.

If he doesn't turn them around for MM and we don't batter Celtic then i'll be seriously cheesed off, and no before anyone start's i don't expect to much, I expect us to beat team's around us at least. Doesn't he ?

Let's not forget that the Crusaders have an unfair advantage of fielding a team of Aussies and the last time we played them they put 60 points past us. So to say 'if we don't batter them' is extremely optimistic to say the least. I'd be very happy with a one point winning margin and the two points.

Ok excuse the term "batter" If asking us to beat Celtic by a healthy margin (who were doubtful to play MM) now "with the big gun's" is too optimistic then the club too can be labelled as optimistic with regard's to "play-off" chants from Feka. And I like many others have been lulled into a false sense of ambition and desire and should be compensated with free drinks at the Willows for all...

Its been the same for the past 3 years.
Cashmere who had made the most yards in the ARL before coming to Salford suddenly becomes a static player.
All our forwards receive passes from a standing position hence no yards made.
It has to be team tactics which dictate this.
I said Feka coming here would be a waste of time as he will do no barnstorming runs like at Wigan as he wont be running on to the ball.
Salford buy a host of new players but the same tactics survive.
Expect more one man rugby, five very short yardage drives and a poor kick next year as per usual.

That was something I noticed in the Wigan friendly the other week. Feka is a big unit and he needs to run from deeper to gain more speed and momentum. Running flat with little speed nullifies the impact he can make in the collision. Surely the coaching staff have picked up on this now and will have it sorted for Cardiff.

cannot beleive what i am reading ,season hasnt started and the moaning has already started , time to let the players do the talking ,with the results on the pitch , we could of had an easier start ,but lets wait and see what happens when the season begins , i for one will be keeping the faith ,i hope there are others out there

Ok perhaps it isn't warranted just yet but with all the hype and the recruitment drive, then to go out and perform not one bit different (dare I say WORSE!) is just a kick in the gooley's, in fact its down right disgusting and disrespectful to the fans, if not by SM then by the people that are keeping him in power.

I could face these performances if we hadn't pumped so much money into a decent squad.

Let me get this right. The board of directors have disrespected the fans by investing more money to improve the playing squad? How must they have felt on Sunday afternoon? It will have cost them a lot more than a season ticket! Let's give it 8 competitive games and make a judgement then.

If any club sacked a Coach/Manager based on performances in practice matches they would be considered insane.
The past two years have been tough but you can't polish a turd. McRae now has something to polish so lets wait and see how good this buster is with his duster!
